According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Siemens Building Technologies has recalled 9,000 smoke detector alarms that use the SBGA-34 audible base. The devices, which include models Desigo, Faraday, H-Series, and Cerberus, can fail to sound.
The recalled detectors were sold between February 2013 and June 2014.
