The Statute of Limitations on Your Personal Injury Case
In Florida, the statute of limitations for personal injury cases is four years. This law is essentially a rule that governs how long a claimant has to file a personal injury claim in order to pursue compensation before their legal right to do so ends.
Florida statute of limitations law can be found in the Florida Statutes section 95.11(3)(a) It’s important to note that this time limit can be shortened or extended depending on if your case meets certain requirements. If you want to learn more about how the statute of limitations may affect your case, contact our office today.
