Over 100,000 Range Rovers and Jaguars Recalled
Recently, Jaguar Land Rover Automotive recalled more than 100,000 vehicles, according to The Wall Street Journal. The recall includes nearly 75,000 Range Rovers model years 2006 through 2012 due to the possibility that one or both front brake hoses could rupture causing the loss of braking fluid. This could increase the distance required to stop safely.
The recall also covers nearly 25,000 Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports model years 2013 and 2014, which may have incorrectly routed brake vacuum hoses. The vacuum hose can rub against other parts and split open, which will disable the power assist and make the pedal feel hard.
Almost 5,000 Jaguar XK cars model years 2012 through 2015 are being recalled due to malfunctioning side parking lights that may turn off after about five minutes. All three recalls are expected to begin March 13.
