CLARK FOUNTAIN EXPANDING: FIRM HIRES NEW ATTORNEY, FOUR PARALEGALS & MOVES IN TO NEW OFFICE

Florida, Fla. (April 28, 2011) – The law firm of Clark, Fountain, Littky-Rubin & Whitman recently hired associate Trent Swift, as well as paralegals Ken Dishman, and Sandy Duncan. The firm promoted long-time legal assistant, Cheryl DiStefano, to the position of paralegal.

In order to accommodate its current and projected growth, the firm also just moved in to a new state-of-the-art, 10,250-sq.-ft. office located on the Intracoastal in Florida on Flagler Drive. Clark Fountain focuses its practice in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice.

“Our case load has been steadily increasing from referrals both in Florida and around the country so the timing is right to add new staff,” said Mark Clark, managing partner. “We’re fortunate that we’ve built a solid reputation for successfully handling a variety of complex cases ranging from tire and automobile defects, to medical errors and catastrophic accidents, that we’re able to so quickly expand the practice to meet the needs of our clients.”

New associate Trent Swift concentrates his practice in products liability issues. Swift recently earned his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University. While in law school, Swift completed clerkships for several Florida-based firms and served as a research assistant for a professor who focused on advancing human rights through non-governmental organizations in Thailand. He is a member of the Florida Bar.

Ken Dishman serves as a medical negligence paralegal where he focuses on investigating and developing claims from the injury stage through trial. Cases range from brain-damaged children to paralysis and wrongful death. With more than 15 years of experience in the medical/legal field, Dishman recently rejoined the attorneys at Clark Fountain, most of whom he worked with a decade ago. He is a Florida Registered Paralegal.

Michelle M. Berry is a paralegal with extensive experience handling all types of personal injury cases. With more than a decade of experience in the legal field, she works primarily on automobile negligence and truck accident cases. Berry is a Florida Registered Paralegal and a certified paralegal with the National Association of Legal Assistants. She earned her Associate of Science Degree in Legal Studies and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.

Sandy Duncan , another firm paralegal, brings more than 20 years of experience in the legal field to the firm. She primarily handles personal injury and wrongful death cases. Duncan began her career as a legal assistant, gained experience in several different firm settings, and ultimately earned the status as a Florida Registered Paralegal.
