Christa McCann of Clark Fountain Introduces Chief Justice Jorge Labarga at Annual Labarga Leadership Award Reception

General BY

For the past six years, the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association (PBCHBA) has hosted its Labarga Leadership Award reception to honor a legal professional who advocates for, and promotes the personal and professional development of, members of the Hispanic community. This year, attorney Christa McCann, who recently finished her term as President of the PBCHBA, had the honor of organizing the reception and introducing Chief Justice Jorge Labarga of the Florida Supreme Court, who presented the Award to attorney Jill Hanson. McCann was also featured in the January 2017 edition of Attorney at Law magazine for her work with the PBCHBA and the Labarga Leadership Award reception.

The PBCHBA is an association of attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals who are dedicated to providing legal resources for the Hispanic community. The Association promotes the development of leadership skills among the Hispanic community and fosters unity among the Hispanic and non-Hispanic members of the legal community.

As an advocate for the Hispanic community, McCann regularly works with her firm’s Spanish speaking clients. McCann also serves as co-chair of programming for the Palm Beach County chapter of Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL).
