Ben J. Whitman Appointed Chair of FJA Research and Education Foundation Law School Outreach Program

The Florida Justice Association (FJA) Research and Education Foundation has appointed West Palm Beach personal injury attorney Ben J. Whitman Chair of the Law School Outreach (LSO) program.

Guided by the Research and Education Foundation, the LSO program informs and educates law students about the purpose of the FJA. Through a series of events, students have the opportunity to learn about the CLE programs offered by the FJA, as well as socialize with current members in their area. These networking opportunities often prove to be invaluable to young lawyers who are looking for guidance, mentorship, and resources as they prepare to enter the legal industry.

As Chair, Whitman will work with FJA staff to arrange luncheons and happy hours for students throughout the state.

“Ensuring law students know and understand the mission of the FJA is critical to our future growth. Law students are our future membership, it’s important they have the opportunity to learn how our organization impacts legislative, political, and public matters for Florida’s citizens and consumers,” Whitman said. “The FJA improves with each new and dedicated member. I’m happy to play a small role in spreading the mission of the FJA to our future membership so we can continue to safeguard and protect the Florida justice system for years to come.”
