Awarded to a Graduating William T. Dwyer High School Senior
Every year the West Palm Beach personal injury law firm of Clark, Fountain, Littky-Rubin & Whitman awards one graduating senior at William T. Dwyer High School the “Panthers Park Your Phone” Distracted Driving Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for any type of continuing education after high school graduation (any type of college, trade school, degree certification, military, etc).
Distracted driving accidents are 100 percent preventable. The “Panthers Park Your Phone” Distracted Driving Scholarship aims to raise awareness about the dangers of driving while texting, talking on the phone, applying make-up, eating, etc. Applicants will pledge to drive distraction-free and submit a short essay challenging them to think creatively about solutions for safer roads.
The winner will be selected by Clark, Fountain, Littky-Rubin & Whitman and notified prior to the public announcement.
