SENATORS NELSON AND RUBIO APPOINT ATTORNEY DAVID C. PRATHER TO JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Florida, Fla. (August 19, 2011) — David C. Prather, a partner at the law firm of Clark, Fountain, La Vista, Littky-Rubin & Whitman in Florida, has been named to the new Judicial Nominating Committee (JNC) established by Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio. Prather will serve for a two-year term in the JNC’s Southern Conference of Florida.
The purpose of the JNC is to recommend candidates to serve as U.S. District Court Judges, U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals in Florida. The JNC decides which prospective nominees both senators will forward to the White House for the President’s consideration.
David C. Prather is a Board certified civil trial attorney, who concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and products liability litigation. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar. Prather has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients.
