According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,Subaru of America, Inc. is recalling 198,900 vehicles due to potential brake line corrosion. Models being recalled are 2008-2011 Impreza, 2008-2014 WRX and STI, and 2009-2013 Foresters. Brake lines may experience corrosion due to salt water splashing through a gap in the fuel tank. Corrosion can lead to a brake fuel leak, increasing the distance to slow or stop the vehicles and therefore increasing risk of a crash.
