Truck Crash Leaving Four Orphaned Children Results in Confidential Settlement
Two Firm clients were killed instantly in a severe weather collision with a semi-truck. Their instantaneous deaths tragically left their four children without parents.
The lawsuit alleged that the semi-truck was operating in violation of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, particularly those pertaining to the operation of commercial vehicles in extreme weather conditions and the failure to take proper precautions and operate the truck at an appropriate speed given the severe weather conditions.
Ultimately, Attorney Shana P. Nogues was able to obtain a confidential settlement against the truck driver and trucking company that will help support the children.
