Christa McCann Sworn in to Board of Directors of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers

General BY

Clark, Fountain, La Vista, Littky-Rubin & Whitman was a proud sponsor of the annual installation luncheon for the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) – Palm Beach County Chapter. The event was held to install the new Board of Directors for the 2017 – 2018 year and took place at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach.

Among the Board members inducted this year was our firm’s own Christa L. McCann. In past years, Christa has served as the Co-Chair of Palm Beach County FAWL’s mentoring program, and this past year she served as the Programming Co-Director. This year, she will join the Board of Directors as the Sponsorship Co-Director.

The luncheon was attended by attorneys from across Palm Beach County as well as numerous judges and featured keynote speaker, Elaine Johnson James, Esq., Commissioner of the American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession. Judge Samantha Schosberg Feuer (Circuit Judge for the 15th Judicial Circuit) performed the swearing-in of the new Palm Beach County FAWL Board.

As a trial attorney, Christa is committed to protecting the rights of victims and families in a range of personal injury and wrongful death cases, including those involving defective products, auto accidents, nursing home negligence, and medical malpractice. During her time at Clark Fountain, she has leveraged her experience and insight to secure millions of dollars in compensation on behalf of clients throughout Florida and the United States.

Our firm congratulates Christa on her appointment to this year’s FAWL Board of Directors and is proud to have been a sponsor of its annual luncheon.
