A man catastrophically injured by an exploding Takata airbag recently retained Attorney Hampton Keen and Clark Fountain.

Hampton Keen and our law firm were recently retained to help a client catastrophically injured when shrapnel from an exploding Takata airbag blinded him in the right eye. The other occupants in both vehicles involved in the accident suffered minor or no injuries. The vehicle was a 2005 Honda Civic, which Takata had recently added to the recall, but our client never received a recall notice.

Having handled multiple cases involving catastrophic injuries caused by exploding Takata airbags, Keen shared that, “The catastrophic nature of the injuries and the similarity in size and shape of the actual pieces of shrapnel from the airbags in different vehicles is remarkable and extremely disturbing as there are so many potentially deadly vehicles being driven by innocent consumers.”

Indeed, Keen and his partner, Don Fountain, are currently embroiled in another Takata case involving a Dodge Charger. In this case, the recall notice was sent to the client’s residence three days after he was hospitalized, after nearly being killed by the exploding shrapnel from his airbag.

Clark Fountain attorneys have handled airbag cases throughout Florida, including major metro areas such as Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, and Palm Beach County. The firm is proud to pursue justice and advocate for injury victims even against the most formidable adversaries.
