to the article, a regulatory crackdown by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
has led to an unprecedented wave of drug recalls and citations by compounding
pharmacies. Compounders say they're being held to unfair and unnecessary
standards, threatening an industry that provides hundreds of thousands
