All Six Clark Fountain Partners Recognized as “Best Lawyers in America for 2014”

Prather named Florida Lawyer of the Year in Personal Injury Litigation

Florida, Fla. (August 19, 2013) – All six partners at the West Palm Beach law firm of Clark, Fountain, La Vista, Littky-Rubin & Whitman have been recognized by the prestigious publication Best Lawyers in America, for inclusion in the upcoming 2014 edition. The attorneys are Mark W. Clark, Donald R. Fountain Jr., Nancy La Vista, David C. Prather, W. Hampton Keen, and Julie H. Littky-Rubin.

In addition, Prather has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2014 West Palm Beach Lawyer of the Year in the area of Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants.

Clark was recognized for his work on behalf of plaintiffs in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation, Product Liability Litigation, and Medical Malpractice; Fountain and Keen for their work on behalf of plaintiffs in the areas of Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation; La Vista for her work in the areas of Medical Malpractice and Product Liability Litigation; Prather was recognized for his work in Personal Injury Litigation; and Littky-Rubin was recognized in the area of Appellate Practice.

Mark W. Clark, managing partner of the firm, has more than 25 years of experience specializing in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, products liability, and medical malpractice litigation. His experience has resulted in numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients. Clark is a past president of the Florida Justice Association and is Board-certified as a civil trial attorney by The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Donald R. Fountain Jr. is one of the country’s foremost attorneys in the area of products liability litigation. Board Certified by The Florida Bar as a civil trial attorney, he has handled hundreds of cases involving automotive design and manufacturing defects including defective tires, vehicle rollovers, seatbelts, airbags, and occupant crash protection. Representing clients against almost every international automotive and tire manufacturer, Fountain has achieved multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements throughout Florida and the United States.

Nancy La Vista is a Board-certified civil trial attorney in the area of medical malpractice, who also specializes in products liability. She is also a critical care nurse. La Vista is currently the president of the Florida chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

David C. Prather is a Board-certified civil trial attorney, specializing in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, and products liability litigation. He currently serves on the Florida Bar’s Board of Governors and is recognized for his trial skills and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for his clients for nearly 20 years. He is also past president of the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association.

W. Hampton Keen concentrates his practice in the areas of products liability and catastrophic injury cases. Julie H. Littky-Rubin, certified by The Florida Bar in appellate practice, heads the appellate practice at the firm. She handles appeals arising out of all areas of civil trial law and provides trial support to the firm. Littky-Rubin is often hired by other firm’s throughout Florida to assist with their appellate and complex trial support matters.
